Dr. Ralph Sahakian I was born in Pennsylvania, raised in New York City, graduated from St. Johns University in New York, received my doctorate degree at Boston University of Dentistry in 1987 and I have practiced in the Worcester area for 30 years. I am member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, The Frank Spear Study Club, and the prestigious Seattle Study Club- A worldwide organization for the education, development, and advancement of implantology, for overall health and wellness. I am a proud father of 3 beautiful children. I enjoy spending time tinkering with cars and trucks, as well as snowmobiling.
Diane - Licensed Dental Assistant I graduated as a Dental Assistant from David Hale Fanning School of Health Occupations. I’ve been working as Dr. Sahakian’s Chair Side Assistant for 29 years. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening and remodeling my home.
Tara - Licensed Dental Assistant I attended Quinsigamond Community College for my pre-recs and graduated from New England Dental Assisting School in 2010. I have been a Licensed Dental Assistant for the past 2 years. I like making people feel comfortable while in my chair. I enjoy educating my patients on preventive dental care in hopes of them saving their teeth. I love people, hiking, nature and what I do!
Mary E - Dental Assistant I’ve been working in the Dental Field for many years. I enjoy traveling, shopping and spending time with my family.
Jill M - Dental Hygienist I graduated from Quinsigamond Community College in 2011 with an Associates Degree and have been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist since then. I am licensed to provide Local Anesthesia and CPR certified. Prior to 2011, I worked as a LPN and currently maintain my license in Practical Nursing since 2003. I am proud to work in an office that embraces integrity and excellence in patient care. I enjoy my family and spending time with my two sons in my spare time. I like arts and crafts, cooking, and home projects.
Danielle - Dental Hygienist I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2009. I graduated from Quinsigamond Community College with an Associates Degree. I also have my Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Bridgewater State College. I have my Local Anesthesia License and I am CPR certified. I have been working with Dr. Ralph Sahakian since 2009 and love being part of such a great team. My goal as a Dental Hygienist is to help educate our patients on the importance of Oral Health and how it affects their overall health. Working in this profession I have the opportunity to meet new people. Building relationships with my patients are very rewarding! In my spare time, I like to travel and spend time with my two boys.
Jennifer - Dental Hygienist I have been practicing dental hygiene for 15 years and 10 of those have been with Dr. Sahakian. I graduated from Forsyth Institute at Northeastern University in 2001. I became licensed to Administer Local Anesthesia in 2009. I am CPR Certified as well as I continually taking courses through Professional Development Clubs. I live locally, have been married for 12 years and have 3 young children. I am lucky to call many of my patients friends. I love educating my patients while sharing in their personal lives. I look forward to many more years with such a wonderful dentist and team!
Laurie - Dental Hygienist I graduated from Worcester Tech Institute in 1998 with a Certification in Dental Assisting. I worked in Orthodontics for 7 years before returning to school to pursue a dental hygiene career. I graduated in 2006 with a degree in Science. I achieved my local anesthesia license in 2011. I have been working with Dr. Sahakian for 3 years. In my free time, I enjoy my family, friends and my two cats, Luna and Milo.
Sylvia - Dental Hygienist I have been working as a Dental Hygienist for 27 years. I graduated from Quinsigamond Community College in 1989. I’ve been working with Dr. Sahakian for 3 years. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband and three children. I enjoy the personal relationships that I have established over the past several years with both my patients and our team.
Ellen - Dental Hygienist I’ve been working as a Dental Hygienist for almost 24 years. I graduated from Fitchburg State College in 1989 with a Bachelor’s Degree, and then Quinsigamond Community College in 1993. I find my job both rewarding and fulfilling. I am a mother of 3 sons, ages 16, 18 and 20 and I have a step son who is 21 years old. I have been married to James for the past 6 years. He is a wonderful husband & friend, as well as loving and supportive. I like to work hard and play hard!
Nancy - Patient Care Coordinator I graduated from Boston Dental School for Dental Assisting and have been in the field for 39 years. I worked with Dr. Angelo Vangos for 25 years, until he retired. Our team is dedicated and caring, and I enjoy being a part of it! In my spare time, I love to travel and spend time with my grandchildren.
Sue - Patient Care Coordinator I’ve been in the Dental Field for 31 years. I started my career in 1985 as a Dental Insurance Claims processor. In 1990, I switched gears and worked for a local dentist. 15 Years later, I transitioned to an Office Manager Role for a local periodontist. I enjoyed that new role, which also included being a Seattle Study Club of Central New England Coordinator. In July of 2015, I decided to join Dr. Sahakian’s team as a Patient Care Coordinator. It is an honor and privilege to work for such an amazing, dedicated doctor- who cares deeply about his patients and their dental needs. In my spare time, I enjoy playing co-ed soccer and running. I’ve been happily married for 24 years and blessed to have two beautiful children.
Mary L - Patient Care Coordinator I’ve been working for Dr. Ralph Sahakian for 3 years, but in the dental field for 39 years. I graduated as a Dental Assistant from David Hale Fanning School of Health Occupations. I worked originally as a dental assistant in the periodontal field for a number of years. I decided to start my family and then eventually I returned to general dentistry – working for Dr. Angelo Vangos, as a Patient Care Coordinator for 20 years. Once Dr. Vangos retired, I continued on with Dr. Sahakian. In my spare time, I enjoy the beach and spending time with my family.
